Q: What size enlargements can my digital camera produce?
A: A camera with at least 5 MP will print 8x10 photos at excellent quality, even a 16x20 will be of acceptable quality. A 12 MP camera will give you excellent 10x13 prints and acceptable 20x30 prints. The quality will vary depending on the exact specifications, sensor size and features of your camera.
Q: How do I properly setup my files?
A: All images should be setup at their desired print size and 300 dpi. This will give you the highest print quality without artificially inflating the size of the image file.
Q: How can I achieve accurate color?
A: Color management can not be accomplished without the proper equipment. You will need a hardware monitor calibrator (such as a Spyder, Eye-One, or Monaco), and you will also need our icc printer profiles.
Q: How will my images be cropped?
A: Photographs that are not sized to print will be cropped according to your instruction or to the best judgement of the technician.
