Q: What size enlargements can my digital camera produce?

A: A camera with at least 5 MP will print 8x10 photos at excellent quality, even a 16x20 will be of acceptable quality. A 10 MP camera will give you excellent 10x15 prints and acceptable 24x30 prints. The quality will vary depending on the exact specifications, sensor size and features of your camera and the paper type.

Q: How do I properly setup my files?

A: All images should be setup at their desired print size and 300 dpi. This will give you the highest print quality without artificially inflating the size of the image file.

Q: How can I achieve accurate color?

A: Color management can not be accomplished without the proper equipment. You will need a hardware monitor calibrator (such as a Spyder, Eye-One, or Monaco), and you will also need our icc printer profiles.

Q: How will my images be cropped?

A: Photographs that are not sized to print will be cropped according to your instruction or to the best judgement of the technician.
